Hyundai Motor India has recorded total sales of 55,422 units in Feb. Out of which 44,505 units were sold to the domestic market and an export of 10,917 units out of India. The company recorded a growth of 5.1% in the Indian Market.

“Hyundai grew by 5.1% with a volume of 44,505 units on strong performance of the newly launched modern premium brands New 2018 ELITE i20, Next Gen VERNA along with super performer Perfect SUV CRETA in a growing market on the strength of stable interest rates and fuel prices in a faster-growing economy,” confirmed Mr.Rakesh Srivastava, Director – Sales and Marketing of Hyundai Motor India Ltd on the February sales.

Hyundai recently launched the facelift version of its well –liked i20 hatchback. They also showcased the Kona SUV and Ioniq the electric vehicle for the first time. The new Verna 1.4L petrol engine was also introduced in the month of Jan this year.

Being a significant part of the Hyundai Motor Corporations, Hyundai is also India’s largest car exporter. At present the exports are to around 88 countries throughout, Middle East, Africa , Latin America, Australia and the Asia Pacific.

Hyundai recently exported its first shipment of Next Gen VERNA (Known as Next Gen Accent globally) to Saudi Arabia. This shipment of around 2,000 units from Chennai port is its first delivery of the 10,501 units of the initial export order of the Next Gen Verna. Hyundai Verna is also being shipped to various other countries like South Africa, other Asian and Gulf countries from Jan 2018.

At present Hyundai Motor India has a total of 491 dealers and approximately around more than1,304 service stations across the country. Currently it has also invested Millions on its Research and Development centre in Hyderabad.
