Economic relations secretary Mr. Dammu Ravi in MEA to visit Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya

In April, India will reiterate its commitment to deepening its partnership with Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya through a visit by Dammu Ravi, secretary of economic relations in the MEA. In a statement, the Ministry of External Affairs said that Ravi's visit aims to sustain the momentum of high-level interactions between India and African nations following India's admission to the G20 as a permanent member following its election as the group's Indian Presidency. The ministry of external affairs stated in a statement that he is also anticipated to meet with ministers and other high-ranking officials of the Rwandan government. 

 
Additionally, he is anticipated to engage with the Indian population residing in Uganda. Subsequently, the Secretary (ER) will embark on a lengthy delegation trip to Kenya, leading representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture. In addition to holding discussions with Kenyan government officials and ministers, Ravi will preside over a business meeting attended by representatives of Indian and Kenyan organisations. This visit will fulfil the decision made in the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President of Kenya. He is scheduled to meet with Kenyan Indian community members. In Addition, During the tour Puneet R Kundal, an additional secretary (E&SA), will accompany Ravi.
