India and the UAE are looking at trade potential in food processing and agriculture.

A webinar on "India-UAE: Trade and Investment Opportunities in Agri and Food Processing" was presented by the Trade Promotion Council of India. The goal of the webinar was to inform Indian stakeholders on trade, investment, and collaboration prospects in the UAE, particularly in the food, beverage, food processing, and packaging technology sectors.

The webinar focused on how India and the United Arab Emirates can work together to improve food security in both nations. Cereals, sugar, fruits, vegetables, tea, meat, and seafood are among the foods shipped from India to the UAE.
 
The Indian Consulate General in Dubai provided support for the event.
 
Several professionals in agriculture and food commerce attended the webinar, according to the Trade Promotion Council of India. R Senguttuvan, Managing Director of Wimco and Chairman of the Council's sectoral committee on food processing and packaging technology; Vivek Agarwal, Managing Director of Capital Ventures and Chairman of the Council's sectoral committee on food and beverages and Sanjay Grover, Vice President of Kirloskar Pneumatic Company and Vice Chairman of the Council's sectoral committee on food processing and packaging technology were among those in attendance.
 
Virat Bahri, Deputy Director for Corporate Communications of the Trade Promotion Council of India, moderated the event, which also featured Ashok Sethi, Director of the Trade Promotion Council of India.
 
India's Department of Commerce works with the Trade Promotion Council of India to help the country's industry thrive.
